ILLNESSES OF THE 21ST CENTURY

In Poland, as many as 70% of adults and 22% of children are overweight and obese, which results in an increase in the number of cases of diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular disease. Only educated nutritionists can effectively curb their development.

JOB MARKET

According to a report by the Regional Development Agency, there is a growing demand for people with knowledge of healthy eating principles, which, among other things, fits into the ever-growing diet catering market.

SPORT NUTRITION

The rapid growth of sports in the masses has increased the need for specialists who are knowledgeable in nutrition counselling and can support people of different levels of physical activity with their diet.

The most effective way to check and prove your knowledge and skills is through professional internships. You can do them almost all over the region, thanks to the agreements signed with institutions in, among others, Krosno, Jas�o, Jaros�aw, Przeworsk. We also actively cooperate with Medical Universities in: Lublin, Bia�ystok, Krak�w, and Lviv.

Specialisations

The Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics gives you the chance to develop your individual aptitude in one of two attractive specialisations.

Dietary counselling

You will gain knowledge and skills needed to work with medical personnel and provide nutritional and dietary advice.

Oncology dietetics

You will acquire the skills necessary to work as part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals involved in oncology treatment.
